CallTimes ("we," "our," or "the app") is a time tracking application designed for film and television production crew members. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data.
Information We Collect
CallTimes collects and stores the following information locally on your device:
Job and Time Tracking Data
- Job names and descriptions
- Work dates and times (call times, wrap times, breaks)
- Department and position information
- Notes and custom fields you add to jobs or work days
- Rate information (stored locally only, never transmitted)
Device Information
- The app accesses file timestamps for data organization
- Local storage space information for data management
- System boot time for performance monitoring
- User defaults/preferences for app settings
We do not collect:
- Personal identifying information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Contacts or photos
- Payment or financial information beyond the rate data you manually enter
- Device identifiers for tracking purposes

How We Use Your Information
All data you enter into CallTimes is used exclusively for:
- Local Storage: Displaying your jobs and work history within the app
- iCloud Backup: Optionally syncing your data to your personal iCloud account for backup and multi-device access
- Data Export: Allowing you to export your work history in CSV or JSON format
We do not:
- Share your data with third parties
- Use your data for advertising
- Track your usage or behavior
- Sell or rent your information
- Use your data for any purpose other than providing app functionality
Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
- All job and time tracking data is stored locally on your device using secure local storage
- Data is protected by your device's built-in security features and encryption
- The app does not transmit any of your job data to external servers
iCloud Integration
- If you enable iCloud backup, your data is synced to your personal iCloud Drive
- iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Only you can access this data through your Apple ID
- We do not have access to your iCloud data
- You can disable iCloud sync at any time through your device settings
Data Exports
- You can export your work history as CSV or JSON files
- Exported files are saved to your device's file system
- You control where these files are shared or stored
- Exports contain only the job and time data you've entered
Third-Party Services
CallTimes does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app operates entirely offline except for optional iCloud synchronization through Apple's services.
Apple Services Used
- iCloud Drive: For optional data backup and sync (requires user opt-in)
- App Store: For app distribution and updates

Children's Privacy
CallTimes is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. The app is designed for professional use by film and television crew members.
Your Rights and Choices

- Export your complete work history
Deletion
- Delete individual jobs or work days
- Clear all data by deleting the app
- Remove iCloud backups through your iCloud settings
Data Portability
- Export your data in standard formats (CSV, JSON)
- Transfer exported data to other applications or services
iCloud Control
- Enable or disable iCloud sync at any time
- Delete iCloud backups independently of local data
Data Retention
- Local Data: Retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
- iCloud Data: Retained in your iCloud Drive until you delete it manually
- Exported Data: Retained wherever you choose to save exported files
When you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed from your device. iCloud backups persist in your iCloud Drive until you manually delete them.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Significant changes will be communicated through app updates
- Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
